'Tis the season!
No, not Christmas - it is the season of honoring special people: Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduates, veterans! For some families, it is also a time for religious milestones, as folks receive 1st Holy Communion, Confirmation, and ordination.
What are you going to do to commemorate the people who are special to you during this time?
Let's tell a story . . .
The video above showcases my work with the talented model/actor Kwame Rock and the wee Ava. It is the story of a Dad and his little girl, enjoying a day together in picturesque Market Square in Knoxville, Tennessee.
I have been wanting to do a series that honors fathers, in part because I think after all the attention placed on Mothers Day, they tend to get overlooked, especially if they have to share their day with graduations, weddings, and vacations in the month of June. I was lucky - I had a great dad, Frank Martin! I miss him everyday and one of the things I treasure is pictures of him - or, even better, those where both he and I are in the shot!
Let's tell your story . . .
From now until June 30th, 2014, Stephanie Richer Photography is offering the "Season of Honor" special: for $100, you receive an hour long photo shoot, from which you will receive 5 edited high-resolution digital images. You will receive a link to an on-line gallery where you can download the images to print . . . or post to Facebook . . . or to use in scrapbooks . . . or even send the link to family and friends for them to download.
How often does Mom wishes she had a "nice picture" of everyone? Or does your family have a military veteran from World War II, the Korean War, or the Vietnam War who has never had their story told? Perhaps you have a son who is divorced but has no photographs of "just him and the kids" (I practiced Family Law - this happens more than you know). Maybe your daughter is graduating from school and leaving home, and you want that picture of - and you! - when she was still "at home."
This offer can be purchased as a gift for another person - and the actual photo session does not need to happen before June 30th, which means you can use it as a gift for that special person. All you need to do is contact me and ask for the "Season of Honor" special.
My philosophy is that photographs do not "capture a moment." They keep your story going into the future, perhaps longer than you can imagine, and take on new meaning as time goes by - because new people will be looking at them.
Contact me today . . . and let's tell your story.
