I recently saw this space in the night time and was inspired by the light falling through the window from an outside security camera. I knew i wanted to shoot a night time scene with a model, and I knew I wanted to shoot it in a very cinematic style, with outside lighting for the "street light" and some to emulate moon light. This would also mean using a small aperture, which would give me a large depth of field and bring everything into focus.
All the light seen here is my own - no ambient light. Many thanks to Ryan Martin for his advice on cinematic lighting.
I should mention that I am inspired by the notable photographers Dan Winters, Joey L., Chris Knight, and Gregory Crewdson.
