Childhood and Summer: Bailey

Summertime . . . and the living’s easy . . .

I remember my summertime as a girl. It meant wearing shorts and going barefoot, always ready to jump in the water, catching fireflies, and waiting in the cool of the evening on the front porch for the ice cream man to come.

These easy portraits of young Bailey bring me back. Tangled hair, don’t care. Getting wet, not upset. Sassy rules!

By the way, I follow leads on cool spots to use for portrait sessions and this location came from one of my wedding clients. A bit of a drive, possibly, but ideal for young children as there is no current and the creek bottom is smooth rock. I like to know about different locations to offer my clients diversity and interest.

Want to capture your child in this summertime of their youth? Let’s talk!
