Eastern Venus in London

Time for some street photography.

Last summer, I was in London, England and the city was crowded with tourists. While loitering by Tower Biridge, I saw this woman. What caught my eye was her hair being blown about and her expression, one I might imagine in a Renaissance painting. She reminded me of Botticelli’s woman in his painting, The Birth of Venus.

I liked her strong features and her makeup for the day did well to emphasize them.

Beauty is around us. Some of the most wondrous landscapes can be found in the human face.

There is a drama here and the script is yours to write.
