In Studio Maternity Session: Courtney
Courtney is eagerly awaiting the birth of her little Ruby and wanted to celebrate the time beforehand, during her pregnancy. Now, the heat of a Southern summer is upon us and while there is nothing wrong with having a maternity session on location, it can get . . . uncomfortable. I remember when I was carrying my youngest child - his September birthday meant a summer seeking air conditioning for my big belly.
So Courtney opted for her session to be in my climate-controlled studio, along with some snacks and beverages to keep a mother’s stamina up. We went for classic portraiture, and had a soft look and an “edgy” look, for variation.
