Street photography in New York City. It doesn’t get any better than this for me. I love my hometown - come see it with my eyes.

Street portraiture - not street photography - is something I define to be the few minutes when you meet a subject randomly and make a portrait of them in the environment. In New York City recently I met a delightful woman named Tiffany who gave me the opportunity to do just that!

Jessica and Tate had their engagement session at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, bringing along their two dogs. Sometimes putting in a little more effort to travel to a spot like this reaps great rewards by allowing for engagement pictures in a gorgeous setting.

Loud metal music. The smell of steel and rubber. The sound of weights crashing. Can tenderness be found here? Hell, yeah, it can - check out Kristen and Chris’ engagement session. Engagement photos do not have to be walks through a sun dappled garden . . .

I crashed a photographer’s shootout in the Old City area of Knoxville and had the opportunity to do some street portraiture. Courtney was a beautiful model for this and got my creative flow going. Check it out.

Kayrin is getting ready for this Saturday's prom for the students at L&N STEM Academy, and graduation later on.  But back in October, we had a grand time doing her senior pictures.  They show a young woman of poise, beauty, and originality!
