Liz and Carter made their wedding a weekend getaway for family and friends in the picturesque community of Hot Springs, NC. With the Appalachian Trail running right through the middle of it, it is surrounded by the mountains as well as the headwaters of the French Broad River.
The venue that Liz and Carter chose reflects the history of the area. Mountain Magnolia Inn, built in 1868, is a fanciful Victorian residence that spoke to the timeless nature of love and marriage. The wedding took place under a huge oak tree and the dancing was rocking under the inn's pavilion. I loved her bouquet - handmade by Carter's mom, Jennifer!
And Liz and Carter? As beautiful as the location!
