Marriage proposal against the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains in Wears Valley, TN

The Great Smoky Mountains attract many couples, who come here with the intent of beginning an engagement.  Images of "the moment" are priceless, especially to friends and family back at home, not to mention future generations.

  • Scouting Report that provide pictures of the chosen site for the proposal, including advice of how to get there (especially needed if the proposal is taking place in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and you are unfamiliar with the sites and trails in it)
  • Session includes the actual proposal, a portrait session afterwards, and detail shots of the engagement ring
  • High-resolution digital images delivered via a private online gallery, with full printing rights
  • An additional fee of $50 per hour of hiking is required for proposals at remote sites in the local state and federal parks; some locations, such as waterfalls, can require 3 to 4 hours to hike to the location and back

I have a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) from the National Park Service that allows me to photograph clients in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  I am also available for proposals in Knoxville and its surrounding areas.
