Street photography! Here are some scenes from Fremont Street in Las Vegas taken October 2021. I think Las Vegas is a good spot for black and white photography because it is so very colorful that the neo can be distracting.

“One time around the block, two times around the clock, three times don’t cross the little lady.” Big, cheesy grins are for cellphone pics and Grandma. Childhood is a serious thing so something of like mood is perfectly fine for children. Studio portraiture is not simply “smile for the camera” - it is meant to evoke moods and be timeless.

“Put me in, Coach - I’m ready to play today.” Holden and Coleman, two young men with a love of baseball, were photographed in black and white, aptly demonstrating that ball is life and not to be taken anything but seriously. Child’s play IS a serious matter to children, and wouldn’t you rather have images that reflect that than fake, “nice” smiles? Let’s capture your child’s personality!

I don’t like the school pictures or sports team pictures kids get shoved into - I like them feeling themselves and in black and white.
