Love at Tsali Notch: Victoria and Cody’s Proposal

Some men do “romance” very well. And Cody is one of those men.

He and Victoria were visiting from Colorado, staying at her uncle’s home in Sweetwater. Cody wanted to propose but he had never been to the area and was unsure whether her uncle’s place would have a suitable spot. No worries - in nearby Madisonville is a wonderful place, the Tsali Notch winery.

If you are in the area, you just visit Tsali Notch. They have acres of vineyards, rustic old barn and trucks, a boutique wine tasting room, and a knockout view of the Smokies and Cherokee National Forest to the east. Seriously, vineyards are romantic just in their nature but trust Cody to kick it up a notch. He made arrangements through the good folks at Tsali Notch to have wine and crackers-n-cheese ready, a local florist to have flowers delivered, and for me to get there a tad earlier to set up a table for him. Of course - anything for love.

He ushered Victoria to the table and showed her an album that told the story of their relationship together with various pictures . . . ending with the most important question of all: will you marry me? She said more than yes - leading him down to a rustic old truck, Victoria then proposed to Cody - and what do you know, he said yes, too!

These two are one fun and hip couple. Sipping wine, we did a photoshoot and then say to enjoy the setting sun, even having some friends of mine show up and start buying wine for them because everyone loves a love story!
