Summer Santa
I have been working with my friend, Tony Wilhem, for some years now - we go back, Santa and I. And it has become a fun sort of tradition that at least once during the summer, he comes into my studio to show off the latest summer fashion he collects as Jolly Old St. Nick himself. This background is a high quality muslin one and I bought it thinking I might do a February “cabin fever” session for kids but I think it worked well for this (what can I say, some women buy shoes, I by backdrops).
So Santa has his day at the beach, enjoying the last of his vacation before he heads back to the North Pole. Me, I am getting excited - between introducing Knoxville this year to The Wonder of Santa and, of course, my standard Pictures With Santa, I am gearing up for a very Holly Jolly Christmas!
OF COURSE Santa enjoys milk and cookies on vacation.
Oh no, the wind picked up and sand is blowing into Santa’s snacks . . . and face!
Here’s the deal - he may be on vacation, but Santa is still checking up to see whether you’ve been bad or good. So be good for goodness’ sake!
Santa is always looking for a photo op while on vacation.
The end of the day and as the sun sets, you can count on Santa to still be jolly!
