A warmer, sunny afternoon in Winter was the perfect time to photograph Mason - and at 9 months old, he was the perfect age for baby pictures.  Come and see the latest GQ model in his shoot!

Winter doesn't mean it is time to stop shooting - it just means it is time to head indoors and work in studio.  Never stop practicing, never stop learning!

The new year came swinging in at Candoro Marble Arts and Heritage Center with a 1920's speakeasy.  Casino games, hot food, drinks and dancing kept the place jumping!  Here are some of the rogue's gallery I captured of the guests, all of whom received a souvenir picture to remember the night.

A "regular" client, Miss Riley, got in front of my camera for a session.  It is important to have images made of your children when they are very young since the changes in their life are rapid.  Speaking of fast things, so are toddlers - but, challenge accepted!  Nothing like getting down to their level for fun and play!

I was happy to oblige when my friend, noted photographer Jill Geisler, called me to ask if I could take some pictures of an adoption.  I got to meet the Burket family and attend a joyous occasion.  Who doesn't love seeing a new addition to the family?

In designing Sierra's shoot, I knew there was a look I wanted, but did not have the right accessory.  I found it at one of the Knox Area Rescue Mission's thrift stores, allowing me to reuse, recycle, and most importantly, help someone to redeem their life.  Maybe that is why Sierra looks exceptionally lovely in these portraits.

Downtown Knoxville was the setting for this native son's senior shoot.  Cameron is bright, personable, and very much the type of senior I enjoy working with, one who marches to their own beat.

A young man, freshly graduated from the United States Marine Corps' boot camp in Parris Island, is home briefly to visit his parents in Knoxville before heading out for advanced training.  I have known this young man since his days on Knoxville Catholic High School's robotics team, the Robotichauns, and it was an honor to capture him as a freshly minted Marine in his hometown.  But shooting him took some thought as I wanted to make sure I respected his uniform and preserved his military bearing.

Kelsi proved to be a stunning model, channeling oldtime Hollywood glamour - perfect for shooting among vintage trains at the historic Southern Railway Station in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The snow is blowing where our heroine, Megan, is working and living the dream in New York City - but here is a shoot she did before she left the South, when the sunflowers at TWRA Fork of the Rivers were blooming in Knoxville!
