Tough Guys

When it comes to children's portraits, I am very fortunate to have a hairdresser who has two adorable twin boys.  They have become my muses, if you will - Arlo and Felix.  And one time sitting in her chair, she told me that recently the boys were "into boxing," play fighting with each other in the arena ring of their imagination.

So I told her, get them over to the studio.  I found some used boxing gloves - oversized for them, of course, but doesn't that make it all the more sweet? - and let's see what we can come up with.

Little boys are great as they make their way from toddlerhood to, well, “little boy-dom.” Little boys remind me of puppies - just rough and tumble, and you never know what they will say or think up next.
