In a life that has seen a tour of duty in the US Army, IT consulting to Fortune 500 companies both here and abroad, and litigating trials, two things have remained constant - my love for photography and the commitment to do what it takes to get the shot and make a client happy.
Now living in East Tennessee, I am a full time professional photographer. This means I never stop learning, I never stop practicing, I never stop working towards making myself a better photographer so I can take a better photograph. I belong to several professional photography organizations; presently, I sit on the board of the Professional Photographers of East Tennessee. I also have official certification from the National Park Service to do commercial photography in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You want a portrait done atop Mount LaConte? Let’s go - last one up buys the beer after we’re done.
So what does all of this mean for you? It means when you hire me, you not only get a photographer bringing skills, creativity, and professionalism to the job but someone also bringing life’s experiences, which means I am ready to handle the situation no matter if it’s a storm forcing a wedding indoors to a dark room or a cultural issue that requires deference when photographing someone.
