People of Note: Justin Bailey
There comes a time when I am asked to do a head shot for a person who is achieving a great honor. And in this case, one that is well-deserved.
The announcement was made today that Justin Bailey was named the CEO of Realty Executives Associates, East Tennessee’s largest real estate firm. Justin has been heading up Bailey & Co. Realty here in Powell and in West Knox, a practice started by his parents. I can say having had real estate transactions with Justin before, Executive Realty Associates made a wise choice in tapping him for this position.
Bailey was named one of Knoxville’s up and comers as a 40 under 40 honoree by the Knoxville Business Journal; he was named Business Person of the Year in Powell and recently graduated in the 2020 class of Leadership Knoxville. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors where he received a 2017 Presidential Award and was named the 2019 Managing Broker of the Year. At 38, he will become the youngest CEO in the state to lead a company with over 600 agents and staff.
I am honored that a few weeks ago, Justin reached out to me to ask me to do his head shot, telling me that he knew I could deliver to him a “CEO quality” head shot. I always collaborate with my head shot clients because there is no “one size fits all.” Rather, the look or the feel should be dictated by industry and the reason for the image. I see too many “old school” head shots that may be appropriate for certain uses but not when someone is being entrusted with an honor like this.
