Advice to the Newly Engaged on Wedding Photography

Jackie and Miguel are a lovely couple whose small elopement I recently photographed inb the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This rustic bridge with a backdrop of rhododendrons can be found at the start of the Horace Kephart Trail on the North Carolina side of the park.

I confess, I irk my husband sometimes because I am a talker during movies and shows, and one of the ways he jokes about it is to say, “You know what I am going to get you for Christmas this year? AN OPINION. Because you never seem to share any with me . . .”

So, while you are praying for his sanity let me share with you a blog post I wrote over at my other home, Smoky Mountain Marriage Proposals, about advice - and opinions - for the newly engaged when choosing a wedding photographer.

And if you know anyone stepping forward into that special challenge of planning a wedding, share the link!
