Sebastian - 1st Holy Communion

I remember Sebastian’s birth. Heck, I remember even before then, when I photographed his parents’ wedding in Chattanooga.

And now Sebastian will be marking a significant milestone in the life of a Catholic child, when he makes his 1st Holy Communion at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul next month. His mom brought him up to my studio in Knoxville to have his portrait made to mark this chapter in his life. Really, isn’t he a handsome and dapper fellow?

Sebastian actually asked his mom if he could wear his suit while they were driving home, he was that impressed with how he looked. And, of course, we had fun - always let a kid make a face if only to get them to enjoy the experience!

Congratulations, Seb! You’re growing into a fine young man and you will be a great example for your younger siblings.
