When a beloved pet passes, we’re often left with photos—moments frozen in time—but still aching for more. More memories, more beauty, more peace. Rainbow Bridge Portraits are designed to help ease that ache by turning those photos into a story. A tribute. A vision of your companion at peace, surrounded by light, love, or even the fantasy they deserve.
This is Zeke, my Weimaraner. He died in an accident in October 2024. He never got to see the ocean, though I always imagined he would have loved it—cool breezes, soft sand, the sound of gulls overhead. So I trained an AI model using the images I had of him and created this portrait: Zeke, resting in the sun on his own eternal beach.
It was something I couldn’t give him in life, but I could give it to his memory. And that’s what these portraits are about—not just remembering, but honoring in the most personal, heartfelt way possible.
Rainbow Bridge Portraits are custom digital artworks made for pets who’ve passed on. I use a combination of your photos, digital tools, and artist-guided AI to create a scene that reflects your pet’s spirit, their joy, and your love.
Whether it’s a peaceful garden, a beach they never got to visit, or a scene filled with symbols that meant something to you both, these portraits become a way to say: 'You mattered. You are remembered.'
1. You Share Your Story
Tell me about your pet. What made them special? What did they love? What do you wish their final portrait to say?
2. You Send Photos
The more images you can provide, the better. Even if we’re working with limited snapshots from a cellphone, I can work to enhance those images for a better outcome.
3. I Create the Artwork
Using digital artistry and AI-based tools, I’ll compose a unique scene featuring your pet. It could be realistic or whimsical—what matters is that it feels *true* to your bond.
4. You Approve the Portrait
You’ll see a draft before anything is finalized. We’ll make any needed adjustments together before printing.
AI helps me fill in the blanks when time and circumstance have left us with too few photos. But this isn’t machine-made art—it’s human-driven. These portraits are artist-directed compositions: I guide every brushstroke, every mood, every detail.
Think of AI here as a flashlight in the dark, helping me uncover what’s possible. But the hands doing the work, and the heart behind it, are mine—and yours.
