Elegant Country: Rachel and Daniel

Swann Stables and Rachel and Daniel just . . . go together.  If I can create a new genre of setting, let me call their wedding at that venue “elegant country.”

And country this couple is – they’re from two farming families and I remember their engagement session where I had to cross in front of a heard of cows, all giving me that look of “You picked the wrong neighborhood to come into . . .” But we needed to get to a cabin where Daniel’s ancestors first settled the land because for these two, heritage and family mean a lot.

So a “true” country couple – however, one would be mistaken to consider these two to be unsophisticated.  Their wedding was a beautiful affair where they also lucked out – winning the wedding weekend of peak Autumn foliage!  I call them “elegant country” because Rachel and Daniel embody the values and virtues of the people who settled and worked this area while at the same time can appreciate quality and a refined setting for a wedding.  And this is precisely why they chose well when they settled on Swann Stables, the type of venue that combines heritage and graciousness.

And one more thing in this story - the attention and dedication that Shari and John, the proprietors at Swann Stables in Sevierville, Tennessee, give to their clients is simply phenomenal. As a wedding photographer, the setting is one thing but if you don’t have the staff looking out for you and wanting to make your wedding day a success, what good is a pretty backdrop? At Swann, they care.

See for yourself!
