A League - and Team Picture - of Their Own

I confess, I rarely bought any of my kids’ school pictures because I never liked them. Especially team pictures that always followed the same formula: front row kneel, everyone put your hands behind your backs, now smile. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So when I was approached about taking the pictures for a local softball team, I suggested something different. What we did was have a “picture night” at my studio where I photographed the girls in front of a green screen and then used their images to build a team picture. Let’s face it - the girls see themselves, and rightfully so, as warriors on the field. They take their sport very seriously so shouldn’t their pictures reflect that?

Who wants to be cute when you can be cool?
