Jen and Gracie’s Engagement Session in Chattanooga

I enjoy people who know that variety is the spice of like.

Like Gracie and Jennifer. I first met them when Jen proposed to Gracie at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and I photographed that momentous occasion. They now have hired me for their wedding coming up in November 2022 and that means an engagement session had to be done - I always include an engagement session for my full weddings because they are fun and in addition to getting a couple comfortable in front of the camera, they give the couple the chance to have photos outside of the wedding, making them timeless.

But what I appreciated about these fine women is their embrace of variety. They wanted to show their love of soccer, their love of Chattanooga, and their love of their respective universities. So why not take the time to do that? We went from soccer fields near Ooltewah, to downtown Chattanooga, to the Bluff and Walnut Street bridge, to Renaissance Park, and finally to a grungy garage - oh, and with a stop at The Read House for some Old Fashioneds at the bar (and a quick shot at the hotel’s vintage phone booths).

This makes me even more excited for their wedding!
