Each month, a category of dogs will be allowed to enter with the chance to win:

• A studio session, and;

• A 16x20 matted fine art print*, and;

• The accompanying digital file, so you can show off your award, and;

• Bragging rights when YOUR dog is featured in social media as the DOG OF THE MONTH.

All you need to do is fill out the form below.  Winners will be announced the LAST Monday of each month for that month's contest.  For February, that will be February 23, 2026, which means your entry must be received by 11:59pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

But not every month is for every dog - please note that the CATEGORY of type of dog that is eligible for the context is different for each month.  The new category will be announced at the beginning of each month.

* this is a 12x16 photo of your dog from the session, printed on fine art Hahnemuhle paper and your choice of a black or white mat made from archival paper for a total size of 16x20 - the best quality for your home!

A Doodle is any dog with a mother or a father that is a purebred Poodle - teacup, minitaure, or standard.  While I realize that some mixed breeds may have poodle as part of their makeup, there is a month coming for them, but for now it's the Doodles' time and that is, by definition, a dog where a Poodle alone is bred with another breed or a breed mix (I have seen Berner Schnoodles, where one parent was a Bernese Mountain Dog/ Schanuzer and the other was a Poodle).
