Established in May, Re-established in August: Courtney and Brandon's Wedding at The Barn at High Point Farms

2020 has been a helluva year, hasn’t it?

And we still have a quarter left over . . .

But that does not mean that some couples managed to overcome the pandemic and have a beautiful wedding - in both Part A and Part B!

Courtney and Brandon were going to get married in May of this year at The Barn at High Point Farms. I can imagine a lot of couples planned the same but you know, coronavirus gonna virus. Courtney called me to let me know the new plan: legally tie the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony, then have a big party later in August.

While I was not expected, of course I showed up in May. This year is not your usual year, so let’s try to keep things somewhat “normal.”

Actually, Courtney mentioned to me back in May that she had been nervous about “the big wedding,” but she was not nervous about this small one and that, in turn, made her not nervous about August. Oh, they’d still do everything as planned but heck, she’d be an old married lady by then!

Courtney and Brandon wanted their August wedding to be the big party they had planned for.

Brandon’s daughter, Carina, was included in the ceremony, marking the start of a new family.

The Barn at High Point Farms is an amazing venue. It is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Chattanooga, in Flintstone, Georgia, with locations on its grounds for wonderful settings for pictures.

Did I mention the couple was wanting a party? They had it!

It was wonderful that at the end of the evening, Courtney and Brandon made their way to the treehouse that the venue has, to spend the night there. Just a short walk from the reception area!
