For one man, that dog was Puddin’—a stout, snorting little bulldog with a face made for trouble and a heart made of gold.
Every year, Puddin and her sister Georgia came to see Santa in my studio. She always had a new bandana, a new pose, and usually a new way to make me laugh. One look and you could tell: this was a dog who was adored.
Then one day, her Mom called and asked if we could squeeze in a session. Puddin had been diagnosed with cancer. She still felt good, still had that spark. They just wanted to capture it—before things changed.
At that session, the wife told me something that stopped me cold. Her husband—this quiet, kind man—was devastated. Puddin wasn’t just the family dog. She was his first dog. Ever. And he loved her in the wholehearted way that only first dogs can teach us.
She lived just a little over another year.
After Puddin passed, the wife came to me again—this time with a gift in mind. She had photos: some from me, many just from her phone. And she wanted to create something special for Father’s Day. Something that could hold her ashes, her photos, her story.
We built a custom Gallery Box with ten prints and space for her urn. Today, it also holds her collar. And it sits on his desk so he can keep his baby dog close to him, always.
Later, with her permission, I trained an AI model using the photos we had—yes, even the blurry ones.
These simple, sometimes blurry, always heartfelt images helped bring Puddin’s Rainbow Bridge portraits to life. You don’t need a professional session—just love and a few snapshots.
I created a portrait series of Puddin in all four seasons. Each one was crafted to show not just how she looked, but who she was—funny, stubborn, tender, and deeply loved.
Maybe you don’t have a professional portrait of your pet. Maybe all you have are some phone shots, a few favorites saved to Facebook, or a blurry photo from their last day.
That’s okay.
If your heart is full and your memories are all you have left, I can help you create something beautiful. Something worthy of the love you shared.
“These are perfect! We are so happy Puddin can continue to bring smiles to people’s faces.”

Let’s honor the pet who changed your life. Even if the photos are simple, the love behind them is enough.
Or . . . is there someone in your life who would be thrilled to get a Rainbow Bridge Portrait for Christmas, a birthday, or an anniversary?
